August saw a 30% decline in home sales in Montreal

• Home sales in the Montreal region decreased from 4,847 to 3,372 and new listings from 6,174 to 4,487.
• Average single home prices grew 15% yearlong to $500,000 in August.
• The median condominium price grew 20% yearlong to $375,000 and the average plexes price jumped by 13% to $679,750
