August saw a 1.5% increase in new residential single-family homes in the U.S.

The new residential single-family homes grew by 1.5% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 740,000 compared to July 2021 but fell by 23% compared to August 2020 

In August 2021, the median sales price of new houses sold reached $390,900.
