The Arab Contractors Company and China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) signed a deal to form a joint alliance for major infrastructure projects.

The partnership will focus on executing large-scale developments in Egypt and across Africa.

The agreement aims to open new business opportunities and build a foundation for future cooperation.

By combining their resources and expertise, the two companies plan to expand their presence in Africa’s growing construction market.

This alliance aligns with China’s broader push to increase investment in Egypt.

Over 2,800 Chinese firms currently operate in Egypt, with total investments exceeding $8 billion, according to GAFI.

The Arab Contractors is a leading state-owned construction firm known for major infrastructure and transport projects across the Middle East and Africa.

CSCEC, ranked the world’s top construction firm by revenue in 2020, is already involved in landmark Egyptian projects like the Central Business District and Downtown Towers.
