Segezha Group becomes one of the largest lessors of woodland in Russia with a $515 million deal

  • Segezha group agreed to buy 100% of inter Forest Rus LLC from investment company, Bonum Capital for $515 million
  • Segezha will manage 16 million hectares of forest, doubling the annual allowable cut to 23.6 million cubic meters
  • For the deal, Segezha will sell 25 billion rubles ($349 million) of new bonds and will use 10 billion of IPO proceeds on top of 15 billion ($209 million) rubles of cash.
