Allied Timbers Zimbabwe (ATZ) to launch its new $12 million sawmill facility

• The ATZ  is going to launch a new $12 million sawmill in the eastern highlands, at the Cashel Estate. 
• ATZ wants to be independent in terms of its planting, harvesting, and sawmilling, which will increase the company’s revenue and reduce ATZ’s dependency on contract milling operations.
• The investment will help the company to obtain equipment worth $7.0 million, which it has been trying to get since 2020 under a vendor financed program with Belarus and a $1 million company investment approved by ATZ’s board.
