Weyerhaeuser concludes $265 million acquisition of timberland in North and South Carolina

On Thursday (5-19-22), the company completed the acquisition of 80,800 acres of high-quality timberland located in North and South Carolina from a fund managed by Campbell Global for $265 million.
With this latest purchase, Weyerhaeuser now manages more than 900,000 acres of timberland in the Carolinas.
The company also operates four sawmill facilities, a distribution center, a tree nursery, and a host of mitigation banks and real estate development projects, employing more than 700 people between the two states.
