August saw a 65% increase in Vietnam's exports of wood products

• In August, the volume of exports of wood products grew annually by 65% to $1.35 billion.
• Overall, annually, in the first 8 months of 2022, exports of wood and wood products grew by 6% to $11.07 billion.
• However,  Vietnam's wood imports fell by 12% to over 4 million m³ but grew by 3% in value compared to January-August 2021.
