Canfor to shut British Columbia (B.C.) mills for 2 weeks from September 26 due to low market demand

Canfor Corporation will temporarily reduce production capacity in BC wood facilities for 2-week from September 26, which will be followed by the resumption of reduced operating schedules.
The curtailment in production is due to low market demand, reducing 200 million board feet of production capacity.
To limit the impact on employees, the company will allow employees to work during downtime to complete maintenance projects and other site activities.
