British Columbia launches mass timber action plan for funding 4 new mass-timber housing and infrastructure projects worth $1.2 million

• The new mass timber projects go from multi-family homes to mixed-use commercial and industrial buildings in Vancouver and one in Castlegar. 
• The mass timber plan reduces the carbon footprint from construction, it adds value to the forestry sector and provides new opportunities for jobs, growth, and innovation in every corner of the province.
• The provincial government has invested $575 million into 7 different mass-timber projects at post-secondary institutions throughout BC.
