Bergs Timber will sell its sawmills in Orrefors, Vimmerby and Mörlunda by 1 September 2020. Vida is a subsidiary of the Canadian forestry giant Canfor. All personnel employed will be absorbed by Vida, which is also acquiring the assets at the already discontinued operation at Gransjö. Bergs Timber plan to switch operations towards more processed products
