Brazil's exports of wood-based products (excluding pulp and paper) dropped by 8.5%, totaling $278.6 million in February 2025, down from $304.5 million the previous year.

Tropical plywood exports rose by 28% in volume (from 1,000 m³ to 1,300 m³) and 30% in value, reaching $2.3 million.

Wooden furniture exports saw a slight increase, rising from $45.8 million to $46.3 million, a 1% growth year-over-year.

The overall decline highlights shifting global demand, despite gains in specific product categories.
