Canadian sawmill production saw an increase of 11.4% but is down annually by 9.4% in January

• In January 2022, lumber sawmills produced 4,346.3 thousand cubic meters of lumber which is 11.3% above December 2021 production levels but is down by 9.4% year-over-year. 
• Sawmills shipped 3,857.4 thousand cubic meters of lumber in the same month, which is a decrease of 0.2% from December 2021 and 16.2% year-over-year.
