  • Softwood log inventory fall by 18% on April 2 when compared to February end
  • European spruce log inventory fell by 42% to 1.45 million m3 in March at USD 158/m3 , up USD 11.9 from last month
  • Radiata pine log inventory remain stable at 2.9 million m3 in March at USD 165/m3 , up USD 12 from last month
  • Average demand for log has been increasing mainly in March due to consumption from European market for use in non-construction lumber application
  • Taicang port stocks of softwood lumber increased by 8% in March
