Digital documentation for cross-border trade to help reduce costly paperwork in Singapore

• The new law will be in force from Feb 1 2021 and will help digitise documents in a bid to push to become a Smart Nation
• It is expected under this law that paper trail which typically runs up to hundreds of pages for a single transaction will help reduce the time and money required to process paperwork.
