New Building act of Climate Declarations aims to drive developments towards more sustainable construction

  • The act will come into force from January 2022. 
  • Under this law the frame which accounts for 45% of the climate footprint is set to be replaced by CLT which help in reducing climate footprint
  • CLT can help reduce climate impact upto  80% when compared with a standard concrete frame
  • Södra’s CLT has some of the lowest carbon emissions in the market and are in high demand
