Finnish Round wood prices rise 5% in 2020 to $74.08 / m³: Finnish Natural Resources Institute

  • The price for pine pulpwood in November 2020 was $21.52 / m³, spruce was $24.7 / m³ and birch was $20.91 / m³.
  • Compared to October 2020, prices increased by 2-3%, which is 5% rise year on year.
  • In November 2020, purchases of round wood from non-industrial private forests increased by 45% year on year to 4.5 million m³.
  • Trade in January-November 2020 decreased by 3% year on year.
