Indonesia plans to expand the market share of Indonesian wood products in Germany

  • The cooperation program between Indonesia and the University of Freiburg to study the market for industrial wood products in Europe and how Indonesian products can satisfy the market demand.
  • In 2021, the value of Indonesian wood product exports to Germany grew by 23% to $171.1 million compared to 2020 in which the main product exported was furniture generated $73.9 million in earnings, followed by wood panels which generated $37.9 million.
