  • From April to May, lumber production in Canada grew by 7.2% month-over-month to 4,649.5 thousand cubic meters but year-over-year production (May 2021 to May 2022) fell by 5.3%.
  • In May 2022, Canadian sawmills shipped 4,612.1 thousand m³ of lumber, which is 7.9% higher than April of 2022 but fell by 7.0% compared to May of 2021.
