The Ministry of Industry and Trade to prohibit the export of wood and plywood logs from it to the EU

- The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will ban the export of wood and several products from it by the end of this year. The ban will impact the unfriendly states.
- The approved list includes the USA, Canada, and EU countries, also UK's territories, including Jersey, Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar. Also named Ukraine, Montenegro, Switzerland, Albania, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, North Macedonia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Micronesia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Taiwan.
- The ban on the export of plywood logs (raw materials for plywood production) against the EU's anti-dumping duties on finished plywood from Russia will prohibit European manufacturers to increase the capacity of their enterprises at the cost of Russian raw materials.
