  • In Bremen, the negotiations between the German trade union ver.di and the Central Association of German Seaport Companies (ZDS) failed yesterday due to which another rail strike erupted, affecting the ports of Bremerhaven, Hamburg, and Wilhelmshaven – road, rail, and sea cargo.
  • ZDS desired to cancel a more generous pay offer made in earlier rounds of talks and after 3rd round, it made an inadequate pay offer with an increase between 3.3% and 4.9% a year in wage, despite inflation growing by 8.1% across the Eurozone was 8.1% and 7.9% in Germany.
