Port of Los Angeles working with White house to clear rail-cargo backlog

The Port of Los Angeles has over 29,000 containers waiting to move by rail of which half of them have been on site for 9 days or more, and compared to this year's January, the average halt time for rail-bound containers was about two days
The port is working with White House senior officials in Washington and Sacramento local authorities as well as both private-sector railroads.
