Port of Novorossiysk, Hapag-Lloyd, and ONE Line shipping halts operations due to Ukraine and Russia’s dispute

  • Under the order of the Ministry of Transport, security level 2 has been established in the region of the transport infrastructure facility of the NLE timber terminal at the Port of Novorossiysk for 15 days.
  • At this time, access to the port territory for persons and vehicles will be restricted, access to the territory of the terminal, JSC (Novoroslesexport) will be allowed only to persons and vehicles registered in the territory of the Russian Federation.
  • Hapag-Lloyd decided to stop all export bookings and advised not to pack already surrendered containers 
  • ONE-Line shipping operations in the region are disrupted and recent developments in Ukraine and Russia are likely to hinder the ability to carry out freight traffic to some destinations.
  • Booking approval for Odesa, Ukraine, and Novorossiysk, Russia is suspended with immediate effect until further notice.
  • ONE is currently on the water exploring solutions for those consignments. As the situation develops, ONE will continue to provide updates on any further adjustments to services at affected locations
