Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) inked an agreement with DP World to build a new fully-integrated smart logistics park in Jeddah Islamic Port

- The deal contains over SAR 500M ($133 million) worth of investment from DP World, which is the 5th deal after a series of agreements with Maersk, Bahri, and CMA CGM.
- The agreement aims to build a logistics park over a total area of 415,000 sq m, with a capacity of 250,000 TEU and 100,000 sq m of warehousing, which will provide advanced and eco-friendly e-services, and combine the operations of the south container terminal with the logistics park.
- The agreement was signed by H.E. Omar bin Talal Hariri, President of Saudi Ports Authority, and Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World.
