SC Ports container volumes saw an increase of 11% in May

In May, SC Ports handled 255,104 TEU at Wando Welch Terminal, North Charleston Terminal, and Leatherman Terminal, which is an increase of 11%, and loaded imports grew by 18%, compared to the same period last year
In the fiscal year 2022, SC Ports moved 2.7 million TEU an increase of 15% increase fiscal year-over-year.
SC Ports is developing the Upstate inland port to handle more cargo and increase rail capacity with an expansion project that recently hit a significant milestone with the addition of 2,600 feet of processing rail track in the facility.
