Port of Long Beach's TEU levels increased 3.5% in the first 5 months of 2022

- In the first 5 months of 2022, the Port of Long Beach moved a total of 4,172,366 TEU, which is an increase of 3.5% compared to the same period in 2021.
- In May, the port processed 890,989 TEU, which is a decrease of 1.8% compared to May 2021, but it is the busiest month so far in 2022.
- Imports fell by 1.7% year-on-year to 436,977 TEU, exports declined by 12.6% to 118,234 TEU, but empty containers moved through the port increased by 2.6% to 335,778 TEU.
