The delegate of Confindustria for Europe to stop the regulation on packaging management

• The European proposal for a regulation on packaging management will affect the supply chains, with heavy consequences on the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical, medical devices, home care industries, catering, and logistics. 
• The approach of the regulation is unrealistic, it pushes for reuse instead of recycling which can work, but the existing supply chain gets unhinged. 
• The delegate of Confindustria for Europe is working on a draft distributed in Brussels, pending presentation by the European Commission, next November 30th.
