UK transport to resume the strikes on September 15 and 17 over pay and jobs dispute

• More than 40,000 members of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) from Network Rail and 14 train operating companies will strike across the country, shutting down the railway network.
• The RMT will join the Transport Salaried Staffs' Association (TSSA) and the Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers (ASLEF) for the new round of industrial action.
