Liverpool’s workers to strike for 2-week from 19 September as the union rejects workers' demand

  • The port proposed a pay package of 8.3% which is besides 2021's 4.5% increase, improvements in shifts, sick pay, and pensions.
  • The strike will take place between 6:00 am on 19 September and on 3 October at 6:00 am.
  • Over 560 port operatives and maintenance engineers will take part in the strike.
