In Q1 2023, in Cemac countries, timber export prices by 4.1% due to the log segment.

In Q1 2022, log prices rose by 7.3% to $275 per m³ and sawn timber prices rose by 3.5% to $582.1 per m³ as Cemac public authorities delayed the ban on log exports to boost local processing.

However, stopping log exports will decline export revenues in many Cemac lands.
