March sees strong growth in Canadian sawmill output

Canadian lumber production rose by 17.3% in March, reaching 4,325.9 thousand cubic meters compared to March last year, production was 1.6% lower.

Sawmill shipments totaled 4,200.6 thousand cubic meters in March, marking a 22.5% increase from February.

However, shipments were 2.9% lower year-over-year.
