Metsä group exits Latvian wood supply business to refocus strategy

Metsä Group has completed the sale of its Latvian wood supply business to ACA Timber.

The deal was approved by the Latvian Competition Authority.

Metsä Forest Latvia SIA, a subsidiary of the Metsä Group, handled the sale.

The divestment will not have a material impact on Metsä Group’s wood supply operations.

All employees will transfer to ACA Timber, and long-term pulpwood and chip deliveries to Metsä Group will continue.
