Prairie Wood Products Sawmill restarted after a 13-year shutdown in Oregon

- In July 2022, the Prairie Wood Product Sawmill in Grant County, Oregon, reopened after being inoperative for over 13 years, the mill was closed in 2008 during the Great Recession and reopened shortly only to shut again in 2009.
- The mill hired 25 workers and is planning to employ 25 more as production is increasing, the mill will produce 8’ & 9’ stud trims in White Fir and Doug Fir, with some Lodge Pole Pine mixed in.
