Swedish forest industry joined with forest manufacturers to build a new sustainable forest harvesting machine

  • Södra, Sveaskog, SCA, Holmen, Norra Skog, Mellanskog, Stora Enso, and BillerudKorsnäs with the forest machinery manufacturer Komatsu Forest started to create a machine with a low impact that could increase harvesting productivity and improve the operator’s environment, which will be a new concept machine called the Centipede
  • The Centipede is built to reduce the risk of ground damage, increase transport speed, and lower whole-body vibrations for the operator.
