The Ministry of Industry and Trade to lift export duties on sawn timber with over 22% moisture content till the end of 2022

The Ministry of Industry and Trade to lift export duties on sawn timber with over 22% moisture content (except oak, beech, and ash sawn timber) until the end of 2022.
At present, the duty rate for these types of products is 10% and these proposals were designed after Viktoria Abramchenko's instructions aimed to help Russian timber enterprises.
Duties on roughly processed sawn timber over 10 cm thick will remain at the previous safeguard level of €200/m³ for softwood and from €250 to €370/m³ for precious hardwood. (oak, beech ash).
