U.S. Department of Commerce formed the Fourth Administrative Review (AR4) of the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of imports of Canada's certain softwood lumber products

- The U.S. Department of Commerce announced on 9th March, that it has formed the Fourth AR4 of the antidumping duty and countervailing duty investigations of imports of certain softwood lumber products from Canada.
- The AR4 will cover the period of January 1st through December 31st, 2021. The initial results of AR4 are expected to be revealed in February 2023 and go into effect in late November or early December of 2023.
- The AR4 will not affect the current rate (17.91%) or the new rate (11.64%) that will be collected after the final judgment in the AR3, which is scheduled to be publicized in late November or early December of 2022.
